"Our aim in education is to give a full life. We owe it to them to initiate an immense number of interests. Life should be all living, and not merely a tedious passing of time; not all doing or all feeling or all thinking - the strain would be too great - but, all living; that is to say, we should be in touch wherever we go, whatever we hear, whatever we see, with some manner of vital interest."

"Education is an atmosphere, a discipline, a life." Charlotte Mason
Our family is a homeschooling family, and always will be! We love learning together and the unity it brings to our home.
Many times I get questions like these: "How do you homeschool with all that you do?", "Is it hard to do homeschooling?", "What method do you use to teach your children?", "Do your children get social time with other children?", and my favorite "Do you have a degree?"
This part of the our site is dedicated to answering those questions and supporting those who are interested in taking part in the Charlotte Mason method of education, even if you don't know much about it!
So jump right in and see what our family finds to be a joy in our everyday lives!
All quotes on the homeschooling pages are from Charlotte Mason.
I highly recommend you read A Charlotte Mason Companion: Personal Reflections on The Gentle Art of Learning by Karen Andreola!
